Life is a continuous learning experience. Throughout our lives we keep rising and falling, picking up important lessons along the way. The following are the 3 most important things I’ve learnt in the last year.

The 2 most important things I’ve learnt in the last year.

  1. Love Yourself

Everything changes when you begin to love yourself. You no longer need to be filled from the outside. You become a powerful source within yourself that attracts better. The more you love who you are, the less you seek validation & approval.

  1. Reject the Status Quo

No one can tell you how to build your ideal life. That comes down to whether you have the guts to pursue what you actually love regardless of what other people think. You’ve got to have the courage to acknowledge what you are passionate about then have the guts to go for it.

  1. The real meaning of true love

I don’t think most people understand what true love is. It’s not the cheesy “couple goals” posts for Instagram. It’s not the fancy dates, the happy hours, or the majestic nights laughing at silly movies. True love is waking up in the middle of the night to help you when you’re sick because he doesn’t want you to be sick alone. It’s being your shoulder to cry on, to vent to. True love is being your biggest cheerleader and toughest critic. True love is looking at each other on a spiritual level, a level so deep, that you can feel them when they’re gone. Ture love is six little words, “no matter what, I got you” – Sylvester McNutt
